On February 10, 2018, Chinese New Year gala, jointly organized by the Embassy of the People`s Republic of China and China Cultural Center in Riga on the occasion of upcoming Chinese New Year was held in the capital of the Republic of Latvia. Heads and representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in Latvia, representatives of mass media, as well as a number of chinese and local people have attended at the event.

During the gala, embroideries and sculpture reflecting Chinese culture were demonstrated, as well as hoto exhibition and a feast of traditional Chinese music were introduced to the attendees.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azebraijan in the Republic of Latvia Javanshir Akhundov by attending at the gala, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and cordial wishes to HUANG Yong, Ambassador of the People`s Republic of China.
