Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on telephone conversation between Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba

On July 17, 2020, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba congratulated Jeyhun Bayramov on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and wished him success in his work. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked his counterpart for his sincere congratulations.

The Ministers expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation and stressed with confidence that relations will be further developed.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked his Ukrainian counterpart for the fair statement based on the norms and principles of international law, referring to relevant UN resolutions, made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the recent military provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces and the tension on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.

Minister Dmytro Kuleba reiterated that Ukraine's position on this issue remains unchanged.
