Ambassador Javanshir Akhundov held meeting at “Getlini EKO” Company
On 25th of October, 2018 upon the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Latvia Ambassador Javanshir Akhundov together with heads of missions of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in Latvia held a meeting with Mr.Imants Stirans, Head of the “Getlini EKO” Company that specialises in the management and processing of household waste in Latvia. During the meeting guests were given full information regarding modern, technological and environmentally friendly process of waste management. Ambassador Javanshir Akhundov held and exchange of opinions regarding co-operation and exchange of experience between “Getlini EKO” and Azerbaijani companies specialising in the field of waste management. Guests were introduced with modern system of waste management, gas extracting and power manufacturing units. Later guests visited greenhouses and were given information regarding use of heat produced by the power unit for growing vegetables.
